Firemountain is a CFA, ACFA and TICA registered cattery located in Southern Middle Tennessee. I fell in love with Somalis and Maine Coons in the 1980s and finally fulfilled my dream of having a houseful of cats in the late 1990s. We have been involved in the cat fancy since 1998 and show Somalis and Maine Coons in CFA and TICA.
In 2006 we started breeding Maine Coins because we just could not resist these gentle giants and wanted to do our part to make sure others are exposed to their loving and fun ways.
We test for HCM (echo and DNA) and PKD (ultrasound) because we believe these tests are necessary tools that help us produce healthy and happy cats. Our cattery is in-home and we usually do not have more than 1 or 2 litters a year. Firemountain specializes in red, cream and cameo tabbies, with or without white, but we occasionally also have brown, blue or silver tabbies, with or without white, available.
